NC broke after 8 months!
Well, first of all...
I haven't been on the site in quite some time and I would like to take a second and say hello to Tal, Big Bird, Starbuck, Wondergirl, Altenweg, Chuff, and all of the others that helped me through my struggles. How are all of you? After 8 months of NC, my ex contacted me and we talked for awhile. Let me tell you... The feelings that I had for her all came screaming back. Now I can't sleep again, I think about her all day, and I'm scared. I'm scared of being stupid, but at the same time, I think I might still love her. The ball is in my court right now but I don't know what to do. She said that she would like to get together and talk for awhile. I am afraid that if I do, we will end up in bed and probably be dating again. She ripped my heart out 8 months ago, and I have pretty much healed up until this point. At least I thought so. Now my mind is an emotional roller coaster. Should I just totally avoid her and leave her in the dust, or should I give it another chance proceeding with extreme caution? It's almost as though I already know your answers but I just need to hear it. Thanks Guys! |
