    Gmail freezes up
    My gmail gets hung up all the time if I do not keep everything cleaned out of the trash.
    Anything more than a half dozen items and it will freeze up.

    Is this via and e-mal client or webmail access?

    Switch to classic version, I also had the same problem with the new one. If you view it in HTML, it will not freeze. Good luck!;)
