While the engine was running the battery terminals touched each other and produced a spark and the engine died, then would not produce and fire at the coil. What will I need to replace. Thanks for the help:confused::D

    Hi,
If it is an opposed twin, perhaps the ignition module(battery voltage through the module.) Could be a fuse. I would look for that first. Why? If the fuse blows and there is an anti-afterfire solenoid in place, then there may be no fuel to the carb. Usually you can tell because it takes about two seconds to die rather than immediately.
    Peace,
    Clarke
