I have "rare non-motile sperm" after vasectomy
I have had several (about 4) post-vas semen analyses, each time I get the same result--rare non-motile sperm. The last one was over one year after I had the procedure. My pcp suggested I see a urologist who examined a fresh specimen and got the same result, but he said the sperm were not viable and I was safe, cannot cause pregnancy. I want to trust his conclusion but with four kids already I start to freak out almost every time after sex thinking about that one in a million chance. Does anyone have first hand knowledge or experience with this? Am I safe or should my wife and I take other precautions?

I used condoms for about a year after my vasectomy. I suggest you continue to do the same until you get an opion from another urologist.
