    Have you read the book?

How do the children behave with respect to what they are asked to do by Atticus?

The book shows respect between parent and child because the kids listen to atticus and if they want to do something atticus usually lets them as long as they stay out of trouble. Mrs. Dubose shows true courage because she's old and she's still hanging in there and atticus said that she's one of the bravest people she's ever met because her husband died and she lives by herself and does the things she needs to do
