    Reset unit every time
    I have to go outside and press the reset button on my rudd heatpump evertime the thing comes on or the heat strips will come on

    You need to call for On Site Service since it might need sealed system work.

    What is the outside temperature when this happens? Your heatpump has a thermostat inside that should not let the heat pump run if the temmp is below a certain level. In my area it is almost always set at 40 degrees.
