    1991 Honda accord ignition problems
My local mechanic determined that I need a new distributor. I'm mechanically inclined and due to the cost for him to replace it, I would rather do it myself.
How can I confirm if I need to replace the whole distributor or just the electrical components? How do I bench test the igniter and the coil system. These parts can be bought separately and are much cheaper then the whole distributor.
    Thank you. Dennis P...

My 1991 Honda Accord EXR seems to have a problem with the torque converter not locking up. You can tell because at 100k the RPM is at about 3000rpm and once the car gets warmed up (about 1/2 hour of driving) the RPM drops to about 2600rpm and you can tell the converter is locked in. Any ideas of...
