Garage Door Stops Halfway While Closing
I have belt system and a prodrive 3222c-z garage door opener. The problem I am seeing is that the garage door stops halfway while closing. The latch detaches from the trolley at a certain point. If I manually close the door and let the latch align with the trolley by pressing the wall mount switch, the latch seems to lock in with the trolley and the door opens fine. However, while closing it the latch and the trolley detach, always at a particular point.
Are there something's I can try before I call a professional? Thanks |

I mistakenly gave someone my garage door opener that didn't return it. I had a male friend come over and "change the code" including my car opener and gave me a universial which he also programmed. I came to realize my code for my keyless pad outside doesn't work (since he changed the code... )....
[When I push the remote to open my garage door, it opens as far as about three inches, then stops. So, I push it again to bring it back down and start all over again, and it works right the second time. It's behaved this way several times this last week. Can someone tell me what's wrong?
