    Play my computer through my stereo.
    Is it possible to play my computer music with a wireless connection through my stereo ?

    Yes. There are several devices that will bridge between a network and a stereo system. Search sites like Linksys, D-Link, Netgear etc for them.

    I currently have a Roku Soundbridge M001. It connects wired or wirelessly to your router and then has to RCA jacks that plug into my stereo. It plays all the music on my PC. The only two multimedia programs it's compatible with is Windows Media Player and Itunes. It's quite expensive but has a bunch of neat features like a Radio Snooper, and free Internet Radio with an 18 digit preset. Cost is roughly $90-200 they do make scaled down versions. The m001 was $175. It works like a charm, I got my PC in my room on the top floor of my house and connects to a Linksys Wrt150N router from the main floor of my house. It's quite simple and my router is set up for MAC filtering as my security so just figure out the MAC of the M001 and your in business.

    I have an xbox 360 which can work with windows media center or with windows media player and will allow you to go through and network your PC and xbox 360. Thus in turn you can play it through a surround sound system or any sort of stereo system. This is also handy because it will also allow you to stream video.
