    About wage garnishment
    I don't think anybody in the world knows the answer to this question. I live in pa. where wage garnishments are not allowed. I work in New Jersey where they are. Can my wages be garnished? HELP PLEASE

    Where is your check issued from ?
    If you work in NJ, the company that pays you is in NJ, they should be able to place a garnishmnet on the NJ paycheck.

    I would say if I was the company, I would do it, then it will be up to the person being garnished to take them back to court to try and get it stopped and their money back
