There isn't much they can do. Depending on where you live they might be able to kick you out on your own. But that's rare.

They can love and support you. If it is your experience that your parents love you I think after they get angry and tell you what a selfish, irresponsible thing you've done (because they are going to be the one's to have to support you and the baby while you try to educate yourself for a better future for you and your baby) that they will deal with what is in front of them and eventually help as much as they are able. However, now that you've made and adult decision and are having a child; it's time for you to grow up and depend less on your parents and do everything to take care of your baby and not give up on educating yourself so that you can provide for yourself and your child.

Most girls who have children in their teens do not do as well career wise because they put aside getting an education, etc. and end up dependent on family or the Government. You are going to have to work hard like you've never worked before, essentially your childhood and teenage fun has come to an end. Time to grow up as you now have the ultimate responsibility.

However, I know you can do it; and with the love and SOME (not all) support from your family if you are dedicated you can still have a promising future.

The baby is never a mistake, life is never a mistake. Your lack of reproductive responsibility, your choice now means for a few minutes of pleasure you are now required to be an adult and be responsible for your baby and yourself.

Just tell them; hopefully their love for you overrides any foolish decision they may have of kicking you out. However, even if they decide you can stay. You must approach life now as if you were kicked out and prepare to support yourself and your baby. If that means working part time while you go to school and finding daycare for your child, then so be it; but please don't think you can have this child and simply carry on like a normal teenager while giving the responsibility of raising the child to your parents. You've already done one foolish selfish thing, don't do another.

Good luck to you and congratulations on the miracle that is your new baby.
