What are you using for the healing process? The only discharge I saw for mine was when I moved the ring in and out... and then that wasn't happening two weeks later. Mine healed within a week. Sounds infected. I used water and seasalt. I put lukewarm water in a glass with seasalt, cupped the glass over my bellybutton and lied down. When I showered, I made sure I was using an anti-bacterial soap. The seasalt worked wonders.

I have had mine pierced for five years now and when I had done I had the same problem... come to find out I am allergic to nickel and sergical steel. So now all I can use is Titanium and 14 ct. gold. Maybe you should see if they can replace it with titanium now... I did mine in a week of getting it done. And it was fine.

Use seasalt and anti-bacterial soap. If it doesn't heal soon, you should probably take it out.

I think that's really common, because mine never hurt or anything but that happened to mine too, I think its part of the healing process because mine is perfectly fine now. Just use antibacterial soap.. dial is a good brand. Stay away from hydrogen peroxide and neosporin because you want to keep it pretty dry. Use antibacterial soap, and saline(salt spray) :) good luck

Yeeah, thanks,
I was also told to use spectro jel?
I'm not sure if that would dry it out as well?

I'm not sure, I haven't heard anything about that. But the best thing for it is antibacterial soap

It sounds like it is infected. I've had my belly button peirced for four years now and when I first got mine done the same thing happened to me. I washed it every morning and night with an anti bacterial soap, and a few weeks later the infection went away. As long as you keep it clean then it should go away soon.

Belly peircing

Hi,
I got my peircing done around November, I cleaned it 3 times a day but this month I have just stopped cleaning it , I might only clean it once in about 2 weeks. I was told that if you clean it a lot you're weakening the tissue around the peircing which invites more bacteria. Do you think by...

I just reached my 4th month of pregnancy. I normally have an innie belly button. This is my first child and I...
