I skipped a month of my birth control pills because I forgot to pick them up. I have been on birth control for about 2 1/2 years since I had a baby. My periods are usually regular from being on the pill. So now I am about a week late on my period, haven't got it yet. I had intercourse about 3 times this month. I feel like my ovaries are sore or something. Can anyone answer to this?

Could be that you're pregnant, could be that you're body is out of wack from missing your pills, could be PMS, could be a lot of things.

Sadly, none of us can tell you exactly what it is, because you have the one thing we need in order to give you an accurate answer, that's your body.

Try taking an hpt, use first morning urine. If it's negative, please see your doctor, especially before going back on the pill. It's never a good idea to bounce back and forth with pills.
