    Pennco Boiler Cut off prematurely
Hi. I have a gas pennco boiler 16 series, 2 wire thermostat, new thermocoupler, pilot stays lit. Boiler cuts off @ 60 degrees and never reaches high setting in this case of 64 degrees. What could be the possible problem? I believe I have been able to determine it is not the thermostat.

If the unit still cuts out after you have jumped the thermostat wires then it is in the control circuit of the boiler where the problem is. Now is the time to call for ON SITE service from a skilled HVAC contractor.

You could have many different control circuits and someone could have set the system to cut off for a reason. Best to have it looked at by a professional so they can see exactly what you have.
