    UK spouse visa and divorce
    HI,
    I Have a HSMP dependent Visa valid till 30th, September 2009.I came to pakistan with my husband to attend a engagement ceremony.My husband stole all my documents along with my passport and went back to UK and left me in Pakistan.NOw he is threating me of divorce.SO what will happen if I apply for visa?my visa will be remain valid or it will cancelled,if he divorce me?what should I do to defend my rights?please respond me, I shall be very thankful to you.

    Do you know where he is and if you do then call the copes there and tell them all about it

    File police report in your country, then get a new passport. Bring one certified copy of this police report and your new passport to British embassy and report this matter. You will get a new visa stamped and be able to enter UK again. However, your term in US may not be long because your legal status will end immediately if the divorce is final.
