    Installing new 2 piece tub/shower
I am installing a new combination tub and shower in an alcove (3 walls surrounding tub). The instructions tell me to install the valve body first. After the valve body is in place, how do I get the tub into the alcove as the valve body extends out from the wall about 3 inches?

    Roger...

You would shut the water off and pull the cartridge and stem assembly and associated washers from the body of the valve and then install the surround (may need to bend slightly)... that should be all you need to do here.

After installing surround then re-install parts and should be good to go... ;)
