Distance spouse, who doen't want to come live with me
I and my wife were legaly married in Kenya and I keep certificate. When I migrated to the united states through the green card lottery, I left her in kenya 8months pregnant and with my step daughter. I didn't have enough money for the three airline tickets and I didn't know anyone in usa to accept the whole family to. She was cheating me, as soon as I landed in usa, two days later, I received a call from Kansas city that she was already in the usa. This fact affected me sychologicaly to the point of almost fainting at the news. I was in Indiana ( where am still in) and her in Kansas city with "a relative" time has gone by, she gave birth and she didn't consult me on the name of our son. We have been in a tense distance relationship. Now her hosts have turn up not to be relatives, they only accept to host her until she deliver a baby and now its 3 months since that happened. Am still being hosted and my host can not accept a nother burden of my family. What should I do? I was thinking of divorcing this woman because she has broken my heart so much. My life ha detoriated, thinking about my children I suggested to her to go back to kenya but she got mad at me and called me names, she doesn't want to see me and she is preventing me from visiting my children in Kansas. Is there a law to protect me and help me divorce her and get my children? Or do I need to seek advice from family lawyer in kenya?

Before you attempt to divorce your wife try to work it out through counseling.
