    Acct Closed by Credit Grantor
Hello. I just received my credit report from Transunion. I have (1) adverse account. Its an AE account that was closed by credit grantor. Its off my record in 2011. I would like to find out strategies I can implement when I call them to have them take it off my record asap. I remembered the card. I was an idiot at the time and defaulted on the payments. However, I remember I did negotiate with them to pay 50-75% of the total balance. I believed that they would not put it on my report since we had an agreement. Is there anything I can do to negotiate with them or should I just wait until the item is removed? Pay status says "Payment after charge off/collection"

Any advice/strategies would be great. Thx.

Use one of the 30 day free trial things you see all over the internet true credit is what I used then click on the dispute button dispute it since its an old debt the probably won't respond anyway since you paid the bill if they don't then it will be off in 30 days and if they do all they can say is that you fulfilled your obligations

Thank you for your efficient response. My dumb assumption was that if married the wife would be entitled to 50% whether name on deed or not in Florida? Thanks

Grantee vs Grantor [ 1 Answers ]

Why would someone-in this case a husband/grantor have a warranty deed drawn to grantee and in this case being himself again and his wife together. Also the city records show the purchase price way under the property value. This warranty deed says 25k and 4 years earlier sale was 79k?
