You know...basically I wanted say that I accepted the fact that she doesn't want to be with me, but could me and her be on good terms. I even apologized to her for how things turned out. She ignores me! I really was trying to be the bigger person bc she a christian, and I'm a christian and I thought maybe me and her can be friends and put the past behind us. But she ignores, doesn't reply back or anything. Messaged her on myspace and she doesn't read those messages. I called her but she never answered so I left a voicemail sayin the same thing. I don't understand.
IM having the same problem as this guy. But my ex said that she just wants to be friends I can't just be friends with her what should I do?

Well if some one tells you they just want to be friends after you had a relationship it over and you have 2 choices be friends or not, your diecison its incrediably painful I know it pain that makes your heart split in half I know that pain all to well the only good thing is it goes away after time and you start looking for some one else. Don't text her call her or anything else just let it go,you will be OK keep yourself busy and talk to some of your friends and before you know it you won't remember her name.
Take care

There's no reason to think so. If you two didn't have a history, then there is something to be said for determination and perseverance. But she knows you and has chosen otherwise. That's pretty simple.
Hard to accept, but truth often is when it doesn't match our wishes. Oh well, it's still truth.

You waiting around for her to come around is just not on. You need to work on yourself and get out in the wrold and find other people
You are not over her and being friends with her right now is not the best thing for you
I would tell her look I am thankful for the friendship but at the point in time I can not be a friend to you as it will be to hard on me.
You have to focus on yourself and getting yourself better and healed up, then who knows maybe a year down the line you can be friends
But never be friends with someone and hope that they will change there mind later on. Because she could go out with another dude and then start talking to you about how he drinks and hits her.
OK I know not the best thing to say but you don't want to be a girlfriend to her man
Work on yourself

She wants to be friends for one of 2 reason, or more commonly, both.
1) She is easing the blow on herself, as well as relieving the feeling of guilt she is having for duping you.
2) She is keeping you on the back burner, in case whatever plans she has in her mind end up not working out the way she hoped.
Either way, it's over. Almost no relationships get back together amicably. You can't be just friends, and you know it. Be true to yourself, and just let it go. You know deep down there is someone amazing out there that will fit you better.
