    Smelly sink sprayer
When I first start using the sink sprayer, it emits a foul, rotten egg like smell for about the first 10-15 seconds. The house is less than 3 years old. We are the only owners. When I let up off the sprayer, there is no "kickback" like I have experienced with other sprayers. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Dale

    Hi Dale,
Sounds like you have picked up some bacteria in the spray head. Unscrew the spray head and soak it in bleach for a few hours. Don't make the mistake of using the faucet as rhe water will shoot out of the open hose if you do.

This tells me that either you don't have the pressure that you had with the other sprayers or your system has better air chambers, (shock absorbers).

    Good luck, Tom

    Smelly sink sprayer... still

I tried soaking the sprayer head and all the components in bleach, and the smell is still there. Can water be getting trapped somewhere? It really smells if the sprayer goes more than about 2 hours without being used.

Have you taken the hose all the way off and soaked it.
