    House Plumbing Map
    Does anyone know if and where to find a home plumbing map for ones house built in 1985so we can find out where the pipes and draining system of our home is?:confused:

    Call the plumbing contractor that did the work. My company always kept a set of "As Built" plans on file of the houses we plumbed. Good luck, Tom

    You can also check with your local town/city hall... some towns/cities require that underground drainage be recorded for exactly this reason...

    Otherwise, you should be able to see where the sewer stack enters into the ground, then find where the main drain cleanout is and then draw a straight line between the two spots and should give you a basic idea to go by...

    In residential construction, there is no plumbing page included with blueprints. Every plumber runs his plumbing by his own design. It will be hard to map it now, unless you get hold of the original plumber.
