    Replacing a water pump
    Has anyone ever changed a water pump in a pontiac grand am 2.4? Does the timing chain have to be replaced as well?

    It doesn't have to be changed, but it's recommended. It doesn't make much sense to tear the motor down that far only to fix it up half-way.
