A scholarship is usually given to an undergraduate university student. A fellowship is generally for those people applying or attending graduate school (masters and PhD). If I am not mistaken, with a fellowship, you will be working as well as learning (teaching undergrad students and helping professors teach undergrads, while you take your classes and such).
