    Federal courts jurisdiction
Is it true that the federal courts only have jurisdiction to hear cases involving federal law.
And is it true that a court needs to have both subject matter jurisdiction and jurisdiction over the defendant involved before it can hear a particular case

    Hello sweetey:

It would appear to be so... However, why don't you tell us exactly what happened and we'll be able to give you better answers. Because if you ARE being incorrectly charged, you're going to want to know what to DO about it, aren't you?
