Separate hot water and boiler high eff
Just wondering if my plumber is telling me what I need or what he wants to sell me
I want to replace my gas boiler because of its age house built in 55 and it is the original
I also have a gas hot water heater separate unit
Plumber is telling me that it is more cost effective to use 2 units
1 for the hot water and the other for the heat
He says that we will be able to turn the heat off in the off season and save big bucks
He is recommending a burnham PVG4NI_NS – 105,000 BTU boiler with an 85.4% afue and a bosch hot water heater GWH425-HN
I was thinking of upgrading to the Burnham Alpine model, W/ 95% AFUE but am not sure if I will recoupe the $500 price difference please let me know all thoughts on this
