Link detached property garage conversion restrictive covenant
I have a link detached property on an estate of similar with a restrictive covenant (NO GARAGE TO BE USED FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR STORAGE OF DOMESTIC OR HOLTICULTURAL EQUIPMNT AND PARKING YOUR CAR)
My neighbour wan't to convert their's into a bedroom with window to the front,therefore turning my home into a semi detached property. Are they able to do this? Thank you |

Could you give more detail why their conversion whould change the status of your property. Covenants are funny things, nearly imposible to change, hard to understand. I think your covenant was written to prevent someone from running a business out of their garage but that may not prevent them from converting it to a home. There must be many other covenants and building regulation you need to read.
