    Wiring from old carrier thermostat to Hunter 44860
    Hi! I need help how to wire properly my new Hunter thermostat model 44680 from an old carrier stat that has wires w/ colors red,blue,yellow,green,& white.I have read some wiring combination from other site but want to be sure the proper wiring?I would appreciate any help!thanks!

    OK,, here goes. The best advice I or anyone else could give you is
    1st take the junk Hunter tstat back where you got it
    2nd. Get you a good honeywell
    3rd. Now you have a good tstat that you won`t be replacing next month /6 months at the most

    Even if your old carrier tstat is junk its still better than anything Hunter has

    Sounds like wmproop has been around some hunters before.lol, I agree, get a honeywell and be worry free
