I just bought an rf modulator so I could hook my ps2 to an older TV. I hooked the av cables from the ps2 to the modulator, and the coaxial cable from the mod to the TV. All the channels are in sync and the power is on for everything. Yet nothing works. Am I missing a step?

Try channel 3 (or 2) and check to see if there is a switch on the module.

The modulator switches between channel 3 and 4. I tried both, even with every channel the TV could scroll through. I had figured the modulator would work like a vcr, which always worked fine for me before, but I get not even a fuzzy image of the ps2 on the TV.

What does it say on by the jack on the back of the TV where you plugged in the coax cable? Is there more than one jack?

Nope, there is only the single coax jack back there. I even tried both jacks on the modulator, the Ant In and the To TV jack, but still nothing. All the cables are new, so I don't think there are any broken lines
