Lighting w/o electrical wiring in ceiling
I have a large kids playroom that was an add-on room before we bought the house. There is electrical wiring in the walls but none in the ceiling and no ceiling lights. My husband and I are not handy and are petrified to mess with electricity. I've thought about rope lights, but is there a better solution. Right now I have standing lamps in two of the four corners. Anymore suggestions? Help me or my kids will be doing their homework by candlelight.:o

You used to be able to buy track lights that plugged in. They might still have them, I'm not sure. You could also use a swag kit with some form of ceiling light or fan.
