    Circuit breakers
    Can I put lights on a 20 amp circuit breaker with 12 gage wire? Or can I use 12 gage wire on a 15 amp circuit breaker

    You can put lighting or receptacles on 20A circuits.
    If using #12 there is NO reason to use a 15 amp breaker, other than maybe if the circuit is extremely long.
