    No, that's not how you get divorced - at least not in the USA. Maybe where YOU come from that's how they do it. If you live in the West, you need an attorney.

    Ok, you hire an attorney since it is harder if they do not sign.
    You have them served papers for the divorce and then you fight it out in court, perhaps mediation for a bit and latter the judge will decide.

    If you do not know where they are at, and only then, there is a posting in the paper, and the court will look at your proof that you tried to find them and could not, and may issue the divorce
