    24volt control for trane a/c
I just moved into a house (renting) and noticed the 24volt wiring for the trane a/c is not wired up. Would anyone know the correct terminals to connect the wires, red, white and green? I am assuming the red may go to the Y terminal and the white to the O, is green the ground? Or do I have that all backwards?

Yes,, you have it all backwards,, we need to no the model numbers of the h/cooling system, the name on numbers off the tstat,, but if there is a chance of you making a mistake and causing even more damage,I believe I would let the landlord get it taken care of, its his responsibility,, and his expense if you was to blow something up

Trane 803 thermostat with Dehumidity Control [ 2 Answers ]

One simple question. If the dehumidity level is set for 50%, shouldn't the humidity remain at that level. It moves up and down from 50% - 55%. I understood that was the purpose of this control. To control the humidity at a constant percentage. Have I misunderstood?
