Here's a question... no background story to the question I just need a honest answer from men maybe even some girls too.

Are men ever too STRESSED for sex?

Yes.. Despite the fact that 95% of the time guys will get it up under almost any circumstances, you can be too stressed for sex.

Here is the deal. Most likely they guy could perform. But, to do so and be distracted by what ever is weighing heavily on his mind would possibly take away from the act itself.

Now, if this is a relationship where the female defines when and how much... this also could be a tactic used to level the playing field. I can expound more if you like.

Oh yes, it's very true. Usually my husband and I have a very healthy sex life (for us anyway, at least 2 times a week) well, we were having financial troubles and at around that time our sex life started slipping. I thought, of course, that it was me and I wasn't being sexy enough or something. But we actually sat down and talked about it and he told me he was stressed out about the money. We then proceeded to talk about the money and are currently working with a credit counselor. I am VERY happy to say things are about back to normal!

So in short, it happens, generally talking about it helps a lot. Let whoever he is know you are tehre for him and will do anything to relieve the stress. That usually works.

Stress is a major issue in performance issues, And then it only gets worse since if you have a performance issue you get stressed over your performance next time and that adds more stress.

Given enough stress it will affect any man... and I think women are even more sensitive to stress because of how they are wired to enjoy sex.

It's true that stress will affect the libido but it's also true that sex is a great stress reliever. If stress is affecting the sex life, as suggested talking out where the stress is coming from & enjoying non-intercourse directed touch together can make it easier to get things on the right track.
