    Moentrol Pressure Balance Rough-In Valve
I just installed a Moen 3570 Moentrol Pressure Balance Rough-In Valve for the shower and afterwards noticed that the amount of force required to pull the handle out is (in my opinion) quite excessive. It feels like there is a strong suction force that needs to be overcome each time its pulled out and I'm afraid that my wife and kids will struggle with this.

Is this normal? If not, what might be causing it and what's the remedy?

    Thanks!

    UPDATE:

I jumped on a different plumbing forum this evening and learned that the problem is most likely the Replacement Cartridge which (as it turns out) Moen will ship you for free if you ask for it.

I called them and their tech support confirm this and put a new one in the mail for me.
