The dip switch on a remote control
Ok, yesterday I learned that to change the frequency on the remote that runs my ceiling fan, I need to adjust the dip switch. Right now, I have two fans that are on the same frequency and when I turn one on, the one in the other room comes on too. So I need to adjust the remote and the canopy? Where is all of that stuff that I need to adjust! Thanks

    Is this any help:

Ceiling fan remote controls - help and FAQ- Ceiling Fans N More

For the remote, take out the batteries. In all likeliness, it should be there. If you need a picture of a DIP switch, they might look similar to this: http://img2.tradeget.com/cxwtdzgs/AL...1da_switch.jpg

    Some slide and some rock.
