Report when you are told and ask your probation officer to explain to you what his or her expectations are if anything above and beyond the court ordered expectations (which you should have been told but should review again with the officer)

I mean, simplistically he will report to his PO after he is released. He will probably have to take periodical drug test, meet periodically with his PO. Beyond that, it depends on the felony. He could have to go to some counseling say if it was drug related. He will most likely have some restitution.
The courts define the terms of his probation. Have you spoken to his lawyer? Public defender? I am not totally sure this is the best resource you have available to you.
May I ask what he was convicted for? You say he is in the county jail?

Hello t:
He has to report regularly. In the beginning it will be more often. He must remain employed. He must remain living in the marital house. He must obey all laws. He may or may not be drug tested. He may or may not be able to consume alcohol. The PO may show up at his place of work or his home. Either may be searched WITHOUT a warrant. He may not leave the jurisdiction of the court without permission. Special conditions may added in your husbands case.
When he was sentenced, he signed a piece of paper outlining ALL of his conditions, and he was given a copy.
That's really it. It's a piece of cake (for some). For others, it's a nightmare.

It means he has been found guility of some felony crime. This crime will be on his record for the rest of his list, unless in latter years he can get it explunged.
It appears he will have to spend a amount of time in jail then be on probation.
He will have a set of rules, first he can not go another crime, he will have to report in and they may have a lot of toher rules they will tell him.

His conviction was impersination of another. Used his brothers name in a auto accident.
Yes they are holding him in county jail. So this means he has a felony count on h is record eh!! Hmm. Not good. Thank you for your imput. He has one more felony he is facing in san diego for forgery, so he could be in a whole gang of trouble, huh?
