    Pontiac grandam blinkers
 I have a 2000 grand am and the blinkers only work when they want to. If I jiggle the emergency flasher button they will start back working, I know there is a part that needs replacing I just don't know which one.

. Remove the turn signal/hazard relay from the under-dash fuse/relay box.

. Inspect relay terminals to be sure they are making good contact. Repair loose, bent or corroded terminals. Clean terminals with abrasive cloth and spray with WD-40. Also, spray the emergency flasher button with WD-40.

If problem continues, the turn signal/hazard relay may be faulty and require replacing.
