    Universal Remote for Hunter fan
    We have a Hunter Ceiling fan no idea what model number that is remote only. The dog ate the remote. We bought a universal remote for Hunter ceiling fans and need help with the wiring. Has old capicitor for old remote can only figure out a portion of the wires.

    The fan, does it have pullchains?

    It doesn't sound like you bought a universal remote, it sounds like you bought a remote/receiver kit. A universal remote wouldn't require wiring.
