    What size wire
    I want to run 300 Feet of cable, from the main C/B panel to a 60 Amp sub panel in a new car garage, what size wire do I need.

    I'm going to sit back on this one.

    Just to ask:

    Trifactor,

    1. Plans for the new garage--outside of parking the car
    2. Are you planing to use copper or alum. (Note: alum will save you a ton)

    Darn, I misplaced my divining rod and my crystal ball for divination is out being cleaned!

    Let's, can any one guess the number of conductors he is going to use and whether he is going overhead or underground?

    240/120, 120 only, type of cable, different types of cable with JB's, aluminum? overhead, underground, through a pond, conduit, clueless?
