    My kitten won't eat
I got a 9 week old kitten yesterday from a litter and it was fine in the car on the way home and then when it was time to feed it it would hardly eat anything and we just thought it was homesick but today again it has not ate much. Also it is always lying down on the floor asleep. Could you tell me if there is anything wrong and what would you recommend me I do?

I guess the little thing is just adjusting to his new home. I wouldn't worry, just interact with it, pat it, love it, make it your own. The attention will bring the kitten around. She/he will eat when it wants to.

While Tickle is generally right, I always strongly suggest taking a new pet to the vet within the first few days, just to do an initial meet-and-greet well pet visit. That way you can be assured of the pet's health, they can tell you what shots you will need when, answer your questions, and quite often will have little goodie-bags and hand-outs for new pet owners, that can help answer some of your questions. It also means that if something goes wrong later, you aren't scrambling around trying to find a vet to take a sick pet to.

New puppy won't stop breathing weird. Won't poop either. [ 5 Answers ]

I just got a new puppy yesterday afternoon. He's 8 weeks old, and came from a farm. We brought him home, and the whole time he was breathing weird, like he's grunting. Will my older kitten ever be nice to my new kitten? [ 5 Answers ]

I have never had cats before. I adopted a male neutered kitten who is now 11 weeks old. Today, I adopted a 7 week old male neutered kitten, as a companion.
