The unit had been move from the side of the house to back and the lines had been cut with a hack saw so I was told.I hook up a new line set and added both filters for ins.After install I used nitrogen to check for leaks and then vacuum for 1hour.

The valves in the compressor could be weak. You will have to pump it down to check how it pulls down. Noturally we have no idea what the temp is.

BTW what is your superheat or subcooling on the system running.

I have a 3 ton unit with a suction pressure of 110 an a head pressure of 190 it's a 10 yr old unit cap tube evap. What could be the problem bad compressor valves?
