I feel really sad, I was involved in a relationship that was off and on and put on hold, it went on for five years. I always wanted it to work as I really love(d) this other person. However this other person told me that they can never see me again as it would upset their current partner, I would not want to break up this relationship. Indeed I hope this works out for them as I do care for this person and think they are great. I did not even know they were involved with someone else. I just feel such a fool. I have been waiting for so long as this other person as always said they really loved me and knew they would end up with me eventually. I have never felt so much for another person and right now I just feel so sad and stupid. How will I ever feel happy again.

it takes time but you will get over it i went trough the same thing and now im with a new guy and we have a kid and another one on the way it takes time to get over the last one but you will and someone else will make you as happy as you once were with this guy[/U][/U]

You will get tired of hitting your head against a brick wall and seek to heal and move on. I hope you have learned never wait for what if's or put your life on hold for someone.

By accepting this life lesson, and cope with your hurt, and healing.

Sorry to hear your story , that must be difficult not knowing your Ex had someone else. It really just takes time , but your healing won't start until you accept that its over.

Read through the boards here and you will see you are not alone. There are some good people on here that you can converse with so just come on here and vent whenever your feeling down.
