    Wiring ceiling fan
    I have 2 wires in the ceiling white and black and 3 wires off the fan black white and blue what do I do

    Your ceiling box doesn't appear to have a ground wire, normally green or bare. Test the box itself to see if the box will make a suitable ground. The black from the fan is the motor while the blue is the light, they both get a white neutral. With what you have the fan and the light will both come on when you throw your wall switch. You will need to control them separately with the pull chains, if it has them, or by installing a remote control receiver.

    Black - black and blue
    White - white
    Ground - metal mounting bracket
