New Harbor Breeze celing fan wiring
I have a new Harbor Breeze ceiling fan and I can't seem to figure out the wiring. The wires from the ceiling are white, black, red and copper. The wires on the fan are only white, black and ground.

I've tried different configurations, but the lights don't work.

Please let me know if you can help.

This fan must be a remote control fan. That, or there is a special wall control you must use.

You obviously have two switches controlling this ceiling box; they pre-wired for a ceiling fan.
You only need one switch leg for your fan. I would use the black, white and bare ground. Cap off the red with a wire nut and fold it into the box.

    Check the instructions.

Is it a remote fan as Stan asks? Or does it have pullchains? If the latter it is missing a wire. If the former, the problem is not the ceiling wiring. Report back.
