    Where can I get all the rules and regulations needed on how to get started on filing for a visa or a green card:confused:

    That information would come from Homeland Security. The division would the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration services:

    Permanent Resident (Green Card)

    If this does not open just go to USCIS Home Page and search for green card

    I recommend 3 places:

    1. USCIS Home Page
    2. Welcome to Travel.State.Gov
    3. VisaJourney.com : Marriage and Family Immigration to the USA (K Visa) (this is a WONDERFUL group of people in different stages of the immigration process helping each other)

    What you will need is persistence and patience because the process can be frustrating and tiresome at times... but it CAN and DOES happen, so keep your chin up and don't give up!
