    Fuses blowing
    Hello.

I hope someone can help me. I have a 38” Weed Eater riding mower with a 12.5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine. I keep blowing the 30 amp fuse that is located right next to the battery. I can change out the fuse with a new one and the mower will fire right up and run great. I am not sure at what point the fuse burns but when I go to start it back up its burnt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you not have a twenty amp fuse?
Trace your wires and see where the short is located.

    Hello Mowerman...

I am not sure why I have a 30 amp fuse... When I pulled it out that's what was in there. I bought the riding mower used. Do you think that I should be using a 20 amp fuse? The strange thing is I can use the mower sometimes and it does not blow the fuse then the next time it will blow.
