    Homelite trimmer line feed
I just purchased a Homelite trimmer with a "bump" feature to feed new trimmer line. How often should I need to bump the head when I'm edging my grass? The line seems to run out very quickly.

When the cutting area is 1/2 to 3/4 of the original cutting area. You will have to use it to learn when to bump the head.
