    Hello Samir!

    That is resp. 75 and 60 Kilograms ( 166 and 133 pounds).
Is there any effect caused by the removal of your galbladder to your weight?

Here is a link to a suitable diet !

    Good luck !

    :)

Well don't do what you mentioned in an earlier post you made for a different person... "eat 50% less"!

As you age your metabolism can slow. You need to exercise. You need to increase your metabolism. Eating a lot less isn't smart long term, as your body will slow your metabolism and you store more of the food as reserve energy.

So... what is your exercise routine? Weight loss without a healthy workout schedule is usually not sustainable.

I've already mentioned... decreasing your food intake is NOT a healthy way to lose weight sustainably.

I assume you had your gallbladder removed due to stones?

Since then what other symptoms have you had beside the pain that he called an ulcer? Issues with your bowels? Fatigue?

Were you told to change your diet composition after surgery? Did your doctor actually tell you to eat less or was that your decision?

Without your gallbladder to store bile, it drips into the intestine. If you eat fatty diets this could mean there is bile deficiency and you'll have problems tied to excess fatty acids in the gut... so eating a lower fat diet is something that might help... likewise, just as a diabetic can keep glucose levels steady with smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day, you might have success with smaller, more frequent meals to be available for the bile that is constantly dripping into your intestines.

All that said... don't guess as what you need to do for a healthy diet with this condition. Talk to your doctor! If he tells you to lose weight, that doesn't automatically mean he wants you to decrease your food intake. He might want you to become more physically active. For those without your problems, diet alone rarely works for sustainable weight loss. An exercise regimen is also needed.

You need more answers directly from your doctor who should help you plan out your path to good health. If he isn't helpful, find one who is.
