I am replacing a standard toilet with a toilet with an elongated bowl. Will the hole in the floor be the same distance from the wall for the new toilet

Toilets are usually roughed in at 12 inches. That's standard from the wall to the center of the flange. There will be no difference in the rough measure of a round bowl or an elongated bowl. Ive never had a problem interchanging the two other than the elongated bowls tend to take up a little more space in the bathroom itself. Unless you have an unual rough in for your toilet flange you should be just fine. If I missed anything post back and let me know GOOD LUCK, AC
