    Washing machine agitator removal
I have a Maytag top loading, heavy duty machine. I need to retrieve something under the agitator. It is ten years old.

How do I get the agitator off...

    Thanks.;)

Look near rear bottom of the agitator itself. YOu will have to feel for it as it is naxt to impossible to see but there will be a bolt or allen screw to remove, then just pull up on agitator
